3. Scope and Limitations of Functionality
MAIA offers AI-assisted functionalities such as reminders, calendar, transcription, recommendations, task organization, and integration with external apps. Some of its functions may operate through integrations or extensions with other services.
The user acknowledges that MAIA may:

In this context, MAIA does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, suitability, or specific conditions of the products, services, or resources that may be recommended through its affiliate programs. These offers are provided by third-party providers. The quality, fulfillment of expectations, and any eventuality related to such offers are the direct responsibility of the external providers.
Likewise, MAIA will not assume any responsibility for any inconvenience, dispute, damage, or problem that may arise from commercial relationships or transactions established between the user and third parties. The management of claims, returns, or any type of conflict arising from these interactions must be resolved directly between the parties involved in the transaction.

7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights associated with MAIA, including, but not limited to, its source code, design architecture, proprietary algorithms, user interfaces, underlying databases, and the results generated or derived from its operation and functioning, are the exclusive property of MAIA. This ownership encompasses both copyright rights and any other applicable industrial or intellectual property rights in any jurisdiction worldwide.
The use of MAIA, in any of its forms or versions, does not grant the user, nor any entity or individual, any rights over MAIA's intellectual property. Access to and use of MAIA is granted under a limited, non-exclusive license, the purpose of which is to allow the user to benefit from its functionalities in accordance with the terms and conditions of use established. This license does not imply the transfer, assignment, or granting of any ownership rights, nor shall it be interpreted as a waiver of MAIA's rights over its intellectual property. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, modification, distribution, reverse engineering, decompilation, or any other action that infringes MAIA's intellectual property rights is strictly prohibited and will be subject to appropriate legal action.
8. Pricing and Payments
MAIA offers both free and paid subscription plans. Payments are processed securely through authorized third-party platforms. Refunds are not guaranteed for unused portions of service. It is important to note that certain features or service characteristics may be subject to an additional charge. Regarding subscriptions, it is essential to understand that, unless explicitly notified otherwise in advance, they will be automatically renewed. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the use or inability to use MAIA, including but not limited to:
- The misuse or unauthorized use of its functionalities: This includes any action that violates the terms of use, policies, or guidelines provided by the company, as well as the use of MAIA for illegal or unethical purposes.
- Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages: This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data or information, costs of acquiring substitute goods or services, or any other economic or intangible damages, even if the company has been warned of the possibility of such damages.
- Loss of data, errors, omissions, interruptions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, line or system failures: The company assumes no responsibility for the integrity or availability of user data, nor for any inconvenience or loss that may arise from technical or human failures in the operation of MAIA.
The user acknowledges and expressly agrees that the use of the MAIA service is at their own risk and responsibility.
